Emerging in the early 1990s, Crowbar was influenced by the likes of Melvins and Carnivore, creating their own form of down-tuned Sludge Metal. Between 1992 and 2005, Crowbar released eight full-length albums, a live EP, a couple compilations, and have gone through numerous line-up and record label changes.
