Nov 11, 2018 · From what I read, the code purple was a term used by HP when the Recovery Media logic thought it was being used on a different PC than what it was designed to restore. It could be triggered by a simple hardware change that caused the mismatch. Anyways continue reading in the linked thread for a different way to do it with a different PC as a host.

Sep 8, 2021 · Not sure if anyone knows an easy solution to my printing issues. But all of the sudden, my blues are coming out purple. We are trying to print some stickers for a client. The background is blue, but the Latex is printing purple. I was told to run a whole bunch of print head cleanings... Did that. Ran the color calibration/print head alignment.

Dec 27, 2016 · My ink levels are showing low, but not depleted, I have about 1/4 of the black left and nearly 1/2 of the other three colors. When I try to print a picture, it is coming out partially a gradient black to purple. When I tried ot adjust to a deeper richer and best quality, the entire picture now prints out purple.
