Jun 9, 2011 · This thread specifically covers swapping a D16Z6 into a 1989 Civic Wagon RT4WD (replacing the original D16A6), and converting to OBD-1 using the P28 ECU and a jumper harness kit. I have been told you can just get on OBD-0 VTEC ecu and convert the engine to OBD-0, add some VTEC wires, etc. I haven't tried it, so its not in here.

Jul 13, 2010 · With the rear diff being 2.529, that means the rear wheels turn 99.3% the speed of the front wheels based solely on the drivetrain. Since the rear wheels are going to be turning the same speed as the fronts (unless there's some slip), we can conclude that there is no viscous coupler pre-load in the Honda Wagon system.

Jun 2, 2006 · The 4wd wagon, especially the 90-91's with automatic seatbelts, are just about the heaviest civics made. The rt4wd offers no performance driving advantage, imo. It just takes too long for the rear wheels to engage to be of any use except climbing hills in the snow, ice, or mud.

Sep 21, 2008 · there are 4 bolts holding the bumper the the car frame. two are inside the car accessible from the trunk. the other two are outside under the car (almost directly underneath where the interior ones are). also there are plastic plates covering the exterior bolts. you have to pop those off the access the bolts.
