This 2.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine debuted in the 2001 Honda CRV and it was the K24A1 version. K24 engine design is similar to the 2.0-liter K20 unit has but with enlarged bores size and stroke, and some changes needed due to increased displacement. Honda used the K24 as a fresh alternative for the old F23A engine.

Mar 16, 2015 · They sell JDM K24a 06-08 long blocks. Now in the site it says that the motor makes 205 whp & 171 ft-Ibs of torque. Website says the JDM K24a is the replacement of the k24a2. It also says it also has true vtec, 3 lobe intake and exhaust cams. The motor is shipped directly from Japan with low mileage which I love.

I already have an extra K20z3 & a K24a2 so I can work on it without pulling the engine already in my car.

Apr 22, 2010 · Looks like a good build there. This is fast becoming a standard issue modification for the Si. The K24 addresses the torque weakness of the Z3 while yielding more power as well. BTW, what header/exhaust/intake mods are you going to use and what hp are you shooting for?
