In 2000, Momsen played the role of Cindy Lou Who in Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas, her breakout role. In 2002, she played Gretel in Hansel and Gretel and Alexandra, the President's daughter, in Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams .

Cindy-Lou is an energetic and hopeful young girl who strongly believes in the spirit of Christmas. She is smart, cunning, and inventive. She constantly devises sophisticated plans for simple tasks and knows the best way to solve problems.

Cindy Luo (she/her) joined APIA Scholars in May 2021 and works as the Scholarships Manager. She supports the team with different programming initiatives, including the Gates Millennium Scholars Program and academic advising services for students as they navigate their higher education journeys.

Kexin Cindy Luo is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Psychology, advised by Prof. Talia Konkle in the Vision Sciences Lab. She earned her B.A. in Psychology and Mathematics from Grinnell College and an M.S. in Data Science from New York University.
