Jul 21, 2021 · My most favorite moments of Choso were his poison blood moments which he used on Naoya and Uraume and whenever he uses an ultimate move (ie Supernova or Blood Meteorite), also his surprised outburst when Yuji finally called him big brother was also weirdly adorable and i also had the exact same reaction. Choso is far more versatile and impressive than he was in this fight, now in the manga. He's gone against people far, far faster and more skilled than Yuji since then. Without them fighting in rain, there's no reason to think Yuji could get close enough and Yuji's current state potentially changes the anti-poison aspect of the previous fight.

Choso sacrificed his life for his brother's life. Both choso and twinkuna died to bolster their brothers, but Choso gave his life willingly and thus showcased the strength of their bond. Ultimately, Choso dying sucks, there's no dying that, but I think it is perhaps the best end for his character, especially with all the callbacks.

I love Choso, but as a character he is more "complete", therefore at a higher risk of death :(. If only Gege had the heart to happily retire characters from the plot over opting for their death.
