The Chocobo Farm is a field map in Final Fantasy VII. It is located in the Grasslands Area on the world map. When first available, the Chocobo Farm is where the Chocobo Lure Materia is purchased to cross the marsh to the Mythril Mines, making it the best way to proceed in "Going After Sephiroth".

Exit the Chocobo Farm and equip the Chocobo Lure Materia on one of your characters. Travel close to the Chocobo footprints nearby to the farm until you encounter a battle which includes a Chocobo.

Here, the player must visit the Chocobo Farm to purchase the Chocobo Lure Materia from Choco Billy for 2,000 gil and catch a wild Chocobo, in order to ride a Chocobo to evade the Midgar Zolom and reach Mythril Mine.

The Chocobo Farm is situated in the central area of the easternmost continent. There is nothing around the Chocobo Farm except a huge, massive field and some tracks that you can use to capture a Chocobo.

Leave the town and head east to reach the Chocobo Farm. Talk to the Chocobo at the front end of the pen and choose the top option to see the big yellow birds dance; you'll get the Choco/Mog materia afterwards.

It has a chest that can be opened once a day for a random reward, and you can talk to your Chocobos to make them dance, like in the original Final Fantasy VII.
