So sure, saying "ching chong" could sound pretty close or indistinguishable from actual Chinese words. Off the top of my head, "qing" (or incorrectly, "ching") could mean please or clean, and "chang" (or incorrectly "chong") could mean long, or sing.

While the two phrases are used in similar contexts to mock Asian languages, I still think Bing Chilling is an improvement over Ching Chong. Ching Chong is pure mockery. “Chinese sounds like gibberish” is the sole message. Meanwhile, Bing Chilling actually has some meaning in mandarin (though most people butcher the pronunciation).
