Chief of Staff, Major General Brandon R. Tegtmeier He also holds a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. MG Tegtmeier served in Ranger, Airborne, and Stryker units throughout his career to include serving as Commander of the 75 th Ranger Regiment.

Major General Patrick D. Frank is the Chief of Staff, U.S. Central Command. MG Frank graduated from St. Bonaventure University and was commissioned as a U.S. Army Infantry Officer. Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of command and staff assignments.

MG McKean went on to serve as the Deputy Commanding General (Operations), 1st Armored Division at Fort Bliss, Texas, and as Director of CENTCOM Forward-Jordan. He then served as the 49th Chief of Armor at Fort Benning, GA.

Most recently General Austin served as the 33d Vice Chief of Staff of the Army from January 2012 to March 2013. General Austin assumed command of United States Central Command on 22 March 2013, and turned over command to General Joseph Votel on 30 March 2016.

General Kurilla spent every year from 2004 - 2014 leading conventional and special operations forces in the U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility. General Kurilla previously commanded 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry (Stryker), 2nd Ranger Battalion, the 75th Ranger Regiment, the 82nd Airborne Division, and the XVIII Airborne Corps.
