Apr 17, 2011 · So my 1st ever Casio G-shock is a DW6800. Has worked flawlessly through just about everything and about 6 bands and 4 batteries. However, the case/bezel has literally cracked before my eyes.

Dec 20, 2023 · I've had my 6800 since I got it new in '95. Years ago, the bezel developed resin rot and crumbled away, yet the bands are still in near-mint shape. I was resigned that I'd never find another bezel, as PacParts had stopped carrying them years ago. The 6800 bezel is made of "Polyurethane Flexible Rubber" and costs $49, plus many extra fees, I'm sure.

Jan 30, 2024 · My buddy got me a MTG910DA for my birthday, so I put the 6800 away for almost 20 years. Last month, I started wondering if anyone made replacement bezels for it. I found a custom seller in Malaysia and got one. Looks factory-made, BTW, and was safely packaged.
