Care Bears is an animated fantasy adventure television series based on the franchise of the same name. After two specials in 1983, the main series began in 1985. In the film, an orphanage owner (Mickey Rooney) tells a story about the Care Bears, who live in a cloud-filled land called Care-a-Lot.
