Jan 7, 2014 · Capo. Does it hurt? Sometimes when I'm playing I might get distracted by the telephone or something and put my guitar in it's stand and not take the capo off. After I return sometime later I realize I did not remove it from the neck. I'm sure it is not a good habit but is it bad on the guitar to leave the capo on?
