Mar 7, 2022 · Why is it that the Canon InkTank models for home use like Pixma G1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx always suffer from Air in the Ink delivery tubes? Is there any particular reason for this to happen and why Canon doesn't do anything for this.

Jun 18, 2023 · I Googled for answers and found many Youtube videos showing Canon MegaTank printers with empty ink tubes. I looked under my hood and saw ink only in the black tube (see photo). The 3 colors were nearly empty even though all of my ink tanks are still over 90% full.

Check the remaining ink level with the ink tank indicator on the front of the printer. If the ink level is near the lower limit line (A), refill the ink tank. Precautionary notes on handling ink bottles can be found here. To refill ink tanks, follow the steps below.

Apr 11, 2021 · I have printed about 100 photos with my PIXMA G6020 with no issues. The photos look beautiful, and the ink levels have not changed. I opened the Ink Fill/Print head compartment and noticed that the tubes that deliver the ink from the reservoirs to print head are not full of ink and instead full of air. I do not know if this is an issue or not.
