Kippewa Offers Three Separate Camps Located on the Same Beautiful Lakefront Property in Maine. Camp Kippewa is located in Monmouth, Maine, on beautiful Lake Cobbossecontee. Originally founded by the Silverman family, Kippewa has been a traditional all-girls sleepaway camp since 1958.

A classic 2-week overnight camp for girls ages 6–14. Camp Kippewa Point blends structure and choice in a fun, supportive Maine camp setting.

Our Equestrian Program provides the level of instruction found in specialized riding camps, within a traditional summer camp setting. Athletics - Camp Kippewa

At Kippewa, the focus is on fun and authentic camp life. We ask that campers dress in comfortable, non-designer “camp-friendly” clothing—think cotton shorts paired with a t-shirt or tank top—and appropriate footwear for all activities.

Working individually and in groups girls are able to explore their musical talents trying out an instrument for the first time, or improving skills and expanding on lessons from home. Our weekly campfires often feature girls sharing musical performances learned in the Kippewa music studio.
