The Caddo Indian Flag is a culmination of several Caddo tribes, their history and spiritual beliefs. The flag depicts life stages, spiritual journey, authentic dress and customs. The flag, though updated, continues to reflect historical and modern day Caddos.

The Caddo Confederacy was a network of Indigenous peoples of the Southeastern Woodlands, who historically inhabited much of what is now northeast Texas, west Louisiana, southwestern Arkansas, and southeastern Oklahoma. [2]

Historic gathering on January 30th, 2025, as the Eight Tribes of Southwest Oklahoma met to address federal program funding exemptions for Native Nations.

Aug 21, 2017 · An red-orange flag bearing the a band and three dancing women symbolizes the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma. Over the land flies the orange banner bearing their tribal seal. On the flag the seal is separated from the orange field by a medium blue ring bearing the name "Caddo Nation" in black at the top.

Jan 16, 2024 · Recognized as separate entities by colonial and US territorial administrators, by the mid-seventeenth century the Red River bands were collectively identified as “Caddo,” derived from Kadohadacho, the primary Caddo division in the Red River Valley.

Caddo Parish (French: Paroisse de Caddo) (/ ˈ k æ d oʊ /) is a parish located in the northwestern corner of the U.S. state of Louisiana. According to the 2020 U.S. census, the parish had a population of 237,848. [1] The parish seat and largest city is Shreveport, which developed along the Red River. [2]
