Oct 31, 2018 · The thing I can't get my head around is that the CMYK colours are so dull and stay that way when I save as an RGB PNG file. Please see attached. I need for instance a bright, cobalt blue and a bright fusia pink. Is there a way I can do this in CMYK? Surely all printed colours aren't always so lack-lustre! Any advise, greatly appreciated.

Feb 18, 2019 · Those aren't even CMYK mixtures, those are HEX colors (which is RGB). How they convert to either CMYK or Pantone completely depends upon how your color management is set up. If that is even a close match then depends upon if your color management is set up suitably for your printing process (machine, paper, inks).

Apr 21, 2010 · If there is a chance that an image will be reproduced in various CMYK-spaces (say, printed as a poster on a sheet fed press but also in magazines or newspapers) it might be beneficial to maintain the RGB-file and color correct there (with the proper View – Proof Setup/s), then separate from that file according to the various requirements.

Jan 28, 2012 · I would definitely contact the print shop. They might, or might not, use the CMYK profile, that you chose, and their specs. will be what you want. Any good print shop will be glad to furnish you with what they want. Now, the CMYK gamut is different from the RGB gamuts. Certain colors will never look the same. Greens are perfect examples.

Mar 13, 2020 · So convert to the proper destination profile. That is the best method, and in the case of Pantone Colors, do not trust how your monitor displays them. Even if you have the super high end, high bit depth big gamut display. Even if the CMYK profile you are converting too fits inside of the display gamut if the PMS colors overprint CMYK or each other.

And my second question is about the qr barcode. The qr barcode is PNG, and the values of it are like this: Would these values of CMYK cause the barcode to be not readable?

Aug 13, 2018 · I can't figure out why it's still previewing non-CMYK colors even when I'm using a CMYK color profile. Things I've tried (which didn't help): restarting Photoshop; converting back to RGB and then back to CMYK; creating a new document with the same colors and converting that back and forth; resetting my workspace; Thanks ahead of time for any help!

May 6, 2020 · All of my colors in Illustrator are super dull for some reason. One of my favorite colors is this bright royal blue (0303F6), but when I try to use it in Illustrator, it comes out muted and just plain sad. It does this with every other color I use, too. I'll attach some pictures below.
