Dec 31, 2021 · Some abroad programs also have program-organized trips that are worth looking into. Other things to consider are the length of the weekends (some programs have 3 or 4-day weekends to allow for traveling to other countries), and classes offered by each program to fulfill academic requirements.

Sep 13, 2018 · I studied abroad in Hungary through CIEE. It was incredible, I truly loved my experience. You get as much free time as you want and need. I travelled every other weekend around Europe for very cheap, which was really exciting. However the best part was getting to know Hungarian culture intimately.

I chose CIEE because they had an open travel policy, a non homestay option for housing, and academic courses I was interested in!

Nov 12, 2022 · If you can figure out how to direct apply to the Uni CIEE goes through it will be cheaper. I went to Korea with them this Summer. The people who applied directly only payed about 3k. Through CIEE I payed about 6.5k.

Mar 29, 2014 · I'm currently doing my second CIEE program. I was in Shanghai last semester and am now in Amsterdam. The programs were extremely different. In Shanghai, I took only CIEE classes because of the language barrier. Here in Amsterdam, I am directly enrolled into the university, so the academics are already much better than those in Shanghai.
