Feb 16, 2021 · I wouldn't buy from CD Keys personally, but each to their own. The only sites I buy from are listed on this site. I got the FFX/X-2 Remaster in the Steam winter sale for £9.99. I've seen it at that price at multiple sites in the past.

Jul 3, 2021 · The keys were printed on a sticker on the manual or whatever in the box, and given the games were being distributed digitally, there's no place to put a CD key. So Steam provides that dialog box for the publisher to place any CD keys associated with the product.

Apr 18, 2023 · I have used cd keys for pc, psn and xbox for years, they are legit, just make sure you select the correct region for the code as most codes are locked to regions. stay away from G2A as that is a dodgy site.

Dec 29, 2020 · Its greymarket site, meaning that they sell keys that are either bought with stolen credit cards or just bought from cheaper Steam regions. There's always a little risk involved when dealing with greymarket sites, but generally I've heard people having positive experiences from CDKeys, though.. still I wouldn't use them myself.

"Less-than-legit" sources - things like company employees reselling their discounted/free keys, stolen keys, etc. You're technically taking on risk by using these keys in two ways: There's a chance they've already been used. These sites buy their keys from all over the place and store them in a database.
