Jun 26, 2013 · I've owned 3 CBR1000RR's over the past 9 years with a total of about 60k miles between them. Obviously they have their good points like chassis (wonderful), mid range torque, light weight, and nice fit and finish. The top of the power band is pretty flat which is not that big a deal until you try an S1000RR or unrestricted ZX10.

Dec 19, 2010 · Hi all, I have a bike(09 blade) on the bench with a bunch of fault codes. 2 long 3 short 2 short 3 long 4 short 1 long 5 short 1 long 4 short Old mate has stripped it to make a race bike and must have tried to start it with everything disconnected. Thanks in advance!

Aug 7, 2013 · If you want the best performance get a 08+ but watch out for some of the 08's since it was the first year of the updated CBR1000RR. If your just commuting on it and just riding around get a 05+. Save Share

Sep 5, 2022 · The 2017-2020 RA-H,J and K models were a much less aggressive track-day monster and easier to live with on a day-to-day basis as an all rounder, "Jack of all trades, master of none". That said, I cannot fault my 2017 RA-H (CBR1000RR) as it's smooth with more power than I have talent by many multiples.

Jul 23, 2020 · Well let’s be real; the CBR1000RR(Fireblade for those across the pond)is a race bike and amounts for a small percentage of Honda’s overall sales. Adding a fuel gauge means adding unnecessary weight to a bike that’s meant to be as light and fast as possible.
