Feb 19, 2005 · Bunny's had nine lives since Kitirik, from business owner to great grandmother. The retiree divides her time between Lafayette, Louisiana, and Ruidoso, New Mexico. Her two sons live in Austin and the Woodlands. Bunny Orsak/"Kitirik": "I just loved doing it and to have someone come up to me and tell me they enjoyed it makes me cry."

Feb 19, 2005 · Bunny Orsak/Kitirik brought genuine warmth and love for kids to that show. A generation of Houston children remember her as "real", and nothing about her was fake or put-on. It's a good thing KTRK didn't try to replace her because it just wouldn't have worked without Bunny in the cat-suit.

Feb 19, 2005 · Bunny Orsak was the one and only, and when KTRK cancelled her show in 1971 it went away for good, and she was never replaced. I grew up with that show too, and have worshipped Bunny as Kitirik from afar since the first day I ever saw her in 1955.

Sep 25, 2005 · Bert Lynn had an afternoon kid show that was Channel 2's answer to Kitirik on KTRK. His show was "Looney Town", and it had the same format and layout Kitirik had.

Apr 15, 2009 · Bunny Orsak was the only Kitirik and is my aunt. Kitty Borah also worked at the station at the time and like another poster said, she had a show called "Kitty's Corner" and left to work in Public Relations.
