
Bummadiya – Lakpura™
The Bummadiya is the main drum used to accompany dance sequences in this religion of Sri Lanka. This cylindrical drum is covered with the stomach lining of cattle and turned out of wood from Kitul, Coconut, Kohombha, Ehela and Milla trees.
