Zen-chan (ぜんちゃん, Zen-chan?), also known as Bubble Buster or Benzo, is a recurring enemy in the Bubble Bobble series. Zen-chans are one of the most common enemies present throughout the series, and feature in almost every Bubble Bobble game.

May 23, 2022 · Zen-Chan can only harm the player by coming into contact with them. Banebou has no attack move, but bounces around the levels at high speeds on his spring. He kills the player on contact. It is the only monster who stays the same in Super Mode.

A Bubble Buster (Japanese "Zen-Chan") is a box-shaped, clockwork walking monster with a medium moving speed and good jumping abilities. He's the first monster that appears in the game on stage one.

Springit is the first boss of Bubble Bobble Part 2. He is a giant capsule-shaped Zen-chan that is piloted by a normal-sized Zen-chan.
