The Breeze system collects fares using smart cards instead of tokens or magnetic strip cards. Its features include six-foot, Plexiglas entry gates; interactive Breeze Vending Machines; “tap-and-go” card readers on entry gates, buses and Paratransit vehicles; and a state-of-the-art computer system that links everything together.

The Breeze Ticket is a limited-use paper ticket; can be purchased as a one-way, round-trip or a one day pass only; allows up to 8 tickets to be purchased per transaction; is non-reloadable and expires 90 days after purchase.

Using your Breeze Card is easy! Tap your Breeze Card on the round, blue Breeze target located on the station entry gate or bus fare box. The reader will let you know your card has been accepted and flash your remaining balance on the screen.
