Apr 4, 2021 · Wondering if anyone has the specs on the Braun (not ADS) version of the 810s? I'm most curious about the sensitivity. There are specs listed on the radiomuseum site but I don't know if it's accurate because it has 8ohms (instead of 4ohms) in the impedance section.

Oct 10, 2006 · I'm wondering if anyone can give me some info on the Braun L 810's, these were made in Western Germany in 1973. They have what looks to be a slate back and they have metal grills. Are these a better model than the ADS?

Feb 1, 2008 · I checked out a pair of white L 810's tonight and for the little amount of time I had to listen to them and considering what he had them running on I thought they sounded pretty decent, certainly better than our Large Advents.

Jun 21, 2017 · The Braun L810 version are also very similar. The difference between the Braun and ADS variants is the Braun used one large resonance chamber for the enclosure for both woofers. The ADS versions had each woofer separated by an angled baffle.

In 1975, ADS built the L-810-A using a Braun tweeter and midrange with ADS woofers and crossovers. The ADS version of the L-810-A also featured individual chambers for each of the two woofers.

Jan 23, 2010 · They were the first generation with the metal grills and the rounded corners, very beautiful cabinets, we did side by side comparisons with my standard black walnut cabs, squared corners, and cloth grills, and we both agreed that for whatever Inexplicable reasons my older 810's sounded better.
