Apr 10, 2021 · Had to tap the punch down w a piece of wood to get the slotted screw driver on to the bushing. Then had to tap primer punch out the bottom by using a brass punch and small hammer. i see no damage to any part. The punch looks fine, as does interior of press where it is inserted to meet the rocker arm (2).

IIRC if it's hard to remove the tube, you can remove the primer plate, flip the assembly upside down and tap the tube out. Be careful not to beat on it too hard. Mar 26, 2025 · I have to manually wiggle the brass to loosen it up, then slide it out. It appears half of the primer is seated, but the shell part of the primer is "imprinted" on the primer punch. It is usually difficult to take the imprinted primer shell off the punch. I have to use a needle nose plier to pry it loose then take it off the punch.

Jun 10, 2012 · Unscrew the allen head fasteners, take a brass punch and hammer and knock off. You might be able to see which direction the sight was put on from, knock it out the way it was put on.
