Feb 8, 2024 · I was referring to the BOLT not Volt. I sold my 2018 Volt after 5 years and the range was the same as new (108kms) If I can only expect 10 years, I'll be selling my current EV (ioniq5) soon and may go back to gas. A $60,000 battery is just too much to worry about!

Mar 22, 2023 · The Bolt even has a setting to immediately charge to 40%, regardless of the TOU setting. Based on that, my 2019 had very little degradation prior to the battery replacement last June. But realistically, unless you plan on keeping the car for 10+ years, you would be conserving the battery for the next owner.

I had a blowout day one of owning my Bolt EV, and the jack points seemed straightforward to me at the time. I've always jacked my cars up using the pinch welds on the frame. Dec 12, 2021 · This morning 8 am got the dreaded "Condition not correct for shift" message. Uh Oh! 2022 Bolt with 1607 miles this stuff should not be happening. Hit the Onstar button, that was worthless, car had no code they could see put me on hold for a tech! No way 30 minute on hold so I call them back. Again another 30 minutes on hold.
