The bodhrán (/ ˈ b aʊ r ɑː n, b aʊ ˈ r ɑː n, ˈ b ɔːr ɑː n, ˈ b ɔːr ə n /, [1] [2] Irish: [ˈbˠəuɾˠaːnˠ]; plural bodhráin) is a frame drum [3] used in Irish music ranging from 25 to 65 cm (10–26 in) in diameter, with most drums measuring 35–45 cm (14–18 in).
