The check box for “Make the Bing homepage image your desktop background” will be checked automatically. Please note though that the available wallpapers on the Bing Desktop are the images for the last 9 days so expect that after 9 days, the image you wish to be your default would no longer be in the list.

The long and short of it is Bing Dynamic Theme was working. Then it stopped working and when trying to reinstall I no longer get the option to allow the RSS feed. The Bing Dynamic Theme sits on a black backround and even with reboots and waiting no image is ever downloaded. Thanks in advance for any help.

Mar 5, 2024 · I tried to check the settings on my end as per your preference and I am able to change themes for Edge and Bing separately. I would recommend installing any pending system updates and restarting the PC once. Open Microsoft Edge, click the More icon (three dots) in the upper right corner, and select Settings. Click Reset settings.
