Nov 5, 2020 · For light armor, it just straight adds your dex modifier to the base armor AC. Padded armor is AC 11. If your dex modifier is +3, then your AC is 11 + 3 = AC 14. If your dex mod is -1, then 11 - 1 = AC 10. For medium armor, the max benefit of your dex modifer is capped at +2. For example, half plate is a base AC of 15.

The only Ways to get Armor of Agathys is by playing a Warlock or picking the Sorcerer Subclass Draconic Bloodline and the „White“ Bloodline. I have not checked in BG3, but in dnd 5e I think you cannot cast Warlock spells with spell slots from other classes.

Jun 25, 2023 · Weirdly, its actually better to take moderately armored than to take heavy armor feat because dwarves don't get proficiency with a shield and the heavy armor feat doesn't give it while moderately armored does so you can take moderately armored and get +2 ac from wearing a shield vs +1 AC from wearing plate instead of half plate.

Bhaalist Armor doubles all piercing damage. So when combined with a piercing weapon, you deal double your spellcasting mod in addition to all regular damage. The goal of a Bhaalist armor build is to get as many buffs to piercing damage as possible e.g. Arcane Synergy, Wrath, Aura of Hate. The Diadem is BIS headgear for this exact reason.
