Jul 6, 2022 · I've never been to Bethesda Country Club, nor know any members. I've visited Chevy Chase as a frequent guest over the years and like it's old school vibe. However, I'm going through the membership process now at Kenwood, and everyone I've met, from members to the professionals have been incredibly helpful and kind.

Nov 1, 2016 · Bethesda Country Club is nice but again you belong there because you cant afford anything better. Country clubs are divided among economic status. You belong to Chevy Chase Club you have bragging rights. A VERY difficult membership process and most do not make it. They do not care about money or who you are. They want to know how you are connected.

Jan 29, 2022 · Congressional Country Club in Potomac (5 year wait list despite hefty fees. Fantastic fireworks) Bethesda County Club (I think this is where the Obama chose but not sure now. It has great food and a nice atmosphere) Kenwood Golf and Country Club in Bethesda (swim team for kids as well as golf) Chevy Chase Club (very expensive and posh)

May 4, 2021 · Food ranges from ok to actually quite good. The fitness center and indoor pool are fantastic. The new bar is great. The club is privately owned, which is why upgrades can be slow to happen - but they do seem to eventually happen. We belong to KCC and another local club (though that is ending), and the kids prefer to do things at KCC.

Aug 17, 2022 · Over the years, our kids (or DH and I) have been invited to events at Congressional, Kenwood, Chevy Chase, Columbia, Manor, Army Navy, and Bethesda Country Club. They all seem great! (Of course, I know that there are differences among them for sure.)

Jul 28, 2024 · What does it say about someone if they don’t get into Bethesda country club? Money isn’t an issue. I heard they are pretty diverse, so can’t imagine that’s the issue either.
