Belts! Help me spend my money! Beltman vs bullhide
Aug 3, 2013 · My BeltMan belts (2) are on their 8th year and going strong. An Armour belt purchased last year is stellar, even firmer and better-supporting than the Beltman. I fully expect it to last a decade, if this first year is any guide. YMMV.
Beltman Vs. CrossBreed Belt? - Defensive Carry
Dec 14, 2009 · The BELTMAN Velcro Belt without any Velcro-clips is priced at $99.95(without shipping & taxes). I would have to pay $18.50(Including S&H, no taxes) to order the Crossbreed Velcro Clips to attach to my holster.
1.5" Beltman stiffener needed? - Defensive Carry
Mar 17, 2008 · The Beltman Horsehide is stiffer than Bullhide and plenty enough stiff to support anything reasonable for carry, without stiffener. When I said in my previous post the Horsehide was almost to stiff, I meant that it is more challenging to buckle up and feed through loops due to its natural stiffness than Bullhide.
1.5" Beltman Bullhide - internal stiffener? | Defensive Carry
Feb 8, 2009 · I'm debating whether or not I should get the internal stiffener on a 1.5" bullhide belt. I carry a 229, normally low to medium ride height.
Beltman Belts. Bullhide vs Horsehide?? - Defensive Carry
Apr 14, 2009 · I use beltman belts in Bullhide to carry a fullsize 1911 with no problems. Belt does not sag at all and I don't have the stiffener in it. The horsey belts look nice too though, I will probably end up with one later. I think you would be fine either way as far as comfort.
Can a belt be too thick? - Defensive Carry
Dec 10, 2010 · Looking for another belt. Ive narrowed my choices to A&G, Beltman, or Bullhide belts. Question, can a belt be to thick and ridgid for some holsters? I will be carrying mostly a Silver Dollar Pancake for about 2-4 hours a day. The Bullhide brand is a single 13oz layer of leather, where the A-G and Beltman are double thick.

Beltman Review | Defensive Carry
Jun 1, 2008 · Man, I ordered a Shark belt from the beltman and I have to say it is a piece of art. It holds holster snug, contours to my waist and is darn sturdy. This thing looks like it could tow an 18 wheeler yet rides as comfy as silk. Almost a shame to wear it! A+++ if …
Beltman HorseHide or BullHide w/stiffening - Defensive Carry
Jul 26, 2009 · I've got a Beltman double-bullhide 1.5", without stiffener, with taper. Though, for me at least, with my CZ P-01 or anything around 25-30oz and heavier I would probably opt for the stiffener next time. Double bullhide / without is fine, though I think the stiffener could help a person be certain it would be firm enough for many years of service.
1.25" vs. 1.5" belt - Defensive Carry
Dec 9, 2008 · I just got two Beltman belts. 1.5" and 1.75". The 1.5" fits the jeans perfectly. The 1.75" just fits the jeans loop. Now, the 1.75" looks like a band around my waist, but its a buckless used for under my duty belt. The 1.5" looks nice, not too big. I just ordered my dad a 1.5" for Christmas after measuring his dress pants and dockers loops.
