He is actually a dps that can heal, and pairs best with a support that can output solid single-target heals, like Mercy and Ana. Baptiste's aoe heals complement them really well, especially Ana with her grenade.

In my 1st 50 hours of Baptiste, I used the crosshair. In the next 50 hours, I added a thick black stroke to the dot with crosshair. In the next 50 hours, I removed the crosshair and replaced it with a green dot and thick black stroke. It is a learning curve, and you need to adapt as you improve in playing Baptiste.
