The BTR-2A is an APC in the Beta Loadout (Modern). It's a modernized variant of the BTR-2 from the Cold War Loadout, but now armed with a 30mm autocannon instead of a 25mm, offering a higher firepower output.

The BTR-80 is based on the BTR-70 APC, which itself was based on the BTR-60. It has a single 260-hp V-8 turbocharged water-cooled diesel engine, an improvement over the twin gasoline engines installed in the BTR-60 and BTR-70 vehicles.

BTR (Russian: БТР), from Bronetransportyor/Bronetransporter (Russian: бронетранспортёр /Ukrainian: бронетранспортер; literally "armoured transporter"), is any of a series of Soviet or post-Soviet military armoured personnel carriers (APCs).

The BTR-2 is a vehicle in the Alpha 2 loadout (cold war). It is one of the least armored vehicles in the loadout, it being the 3rd weakest, after the Kettenkrad and Supply Truck. It was removed in the patch B1.2.4, alongside with the entire Alpha 2 loadout.

BRDM-2 – basic reconnaissance vehicle, distinguished by its turret, which is the same as that mounted on the BTR-60PB. The conical turret, which mounts two machine guns (14.5 mm and 7.62 mm), is unusual in that it has no top hatch opening.
