Sep 25, 2017 · You may have noticed that each safety signal on the X11 has an A channel and a B channel. This is "dual channel safety," and one of the requirements is that, for any given signal, both channels must be in the same state at all times -- they are only allowed to differ from each other for a few milliseconds (I forget the exact number).

Mar 12, 2024 · Hello! I've recently been having problems with the safety system, which led to me power-cycling the robot quite often. This seem to have lead to some sort of corruption. I changed nothing (other than X11 wiring), but now the robot is giving me errors about reading ini files. (progress, memconfig, bios, hw_inf, init/iosys, init/ltc_para.ini).

Mar 20, 2024 · The previous owner moved those two pins from X13 into X11. The wiring is the same and there is 24v across them. I will likely merge those pins back into X13 in the future to bring it back to standard, but I want to get it working first
