Dec 18, 2024 · 2022 BMW M550 (thinking of buying) I'm going back and forth with a dealership who has an 2022 M550 x drive, seems pretty loaded, miles are pretty low at below 14,000. it's a cetified pre-owned with 1 previous owner.

May 11, 2023 · The new 560e sounds very promising, considering its younger brother the 545e is VERY close to M550 performance. I would not be surprised to see BMW pump the 560e to match M550 numbers.

Dec 15, 2020 · Overall a sharp difference between this model and M5 as BMW has clearly tried to set the models apart. The M550 has a noticeably lighter steering and suspension, is extremely quiet inside. It also looks a lot more restrained if that's something your looking for.

Jan 19, 2023 · The m550 has a big powerful v8, but it's really only good for top end acceleration (the m340i will get you 95% of the acceleration on the low end). Handling wise the m550i isn't nimble and it's tough to call it a mild m5 when it shares its suspension with the 540i.

Feb 22, 2017 · I prefer the S7 interior as well probably due to BMW interior aesthetic fatigue. However all reviews indicate the new G30 5 series improves significantly over the previous 5 and that the M550i significantly improves upon the previous 550i.

Feb 13, 2022 · All it takes for 2020 m550 to run 10s is a stage 1 tune. A stock m550 is 0-60 3.4. Stage 1 tunes are adding like 150 whp to 2020 cars, so that, along with some E30 and a dialed in tune could likely do it, even if not consistently. Pretty cool, but I'd rather just pay the M tax and get it with a warranty out of the box. ...
