Sep 27, 2007 · Now, on to today’s topic – the BAM B51 precharged pneumatic air rifle. I have one in .22 caliber, which is the only caliber Pyramyd AIR currently stocks. Why the “Chuntsman?” The name is a slur of Chinese and Huntsman. BAM copied the Daystate Huntsman to make this rifle.

B51 is the thumbhole stock version of the B50. Warning: DO NOT charge the B51 over 200 BAR, 3000 psi or 20 MPa! This rifle comes with a male Foster quick-disconnect fitting and requires a female coupling to fill the gun with air.

Sep 7, 2013 · Finally got a chance to shoot my new-to-me B51. Bought with an extra .22 barrel. Lesson #1: Changing the Barrel - not a problem, made sure the rifle was not cocked (striker forward), removed the break, removed the 4 screws, up and off with the .177, on with the .22.

Dec 18, 2014 · My B51 was one of the "new old stock" rifles that Mike got a couple of years ago and, despite getting lots of use, that is the only high pressure O-ring I have had to replace. The original O-rings even survived a teardown and rebuild.

Apr 10, 2018 · I've had my B51 shooting JSB 18.1gr at two different tunes, around 830fps and later at 890fps. In both cases, I suspect I was the weak link. With a 9x scope, it was good enough to hit 0.5" Mardi Gras beads 9 out of 10 times at 43 yards.

A major drawback to most guns from China has been removed with this rifle and its Rekord Trigger system. As we get into these nicer BAM/Xixico guns you will find real attention to detail and the shooting experience.

Jun 5, 2014 · The ergonomics of the b51 are really good. The cheek weld height is perfect for looking through the scope and the length of pull fits really nice too. The trigger was very good out of the box and has about 3 different adjustments.

Feb 21, 2022 · I was looking to get into a pcp gun and a guy at work said he had one sitting in his basement for the 10 years and only shot it a few times that I could have. So I got it home pumped it up by hand and it shot great.

Aug 9, 2007 · When BAM decided to copy a PCP rifle, they copied the Huntsman, so the BAM B50 and B51 are modern relics of the most successful PCP of the mid-1990s. The most distinctive feature these rifles had was a “swan’s neck” cocking piece made of brass. The BAM B51 is a direct copy of the Daystate Huntsman Mk II. I’ll never forget my first Huntsman.
