In DIA, however, Zariel showed up 150 years ago, was corrupted, and took control of Avernus away from Bel (either immediately, or at some point shortly thereafter).

It really starts to show its biggest weakness in the Avernus part, where it gets railroady as fuck as written. At that point I've used Avernus as a Sandbox, it uses the content from the book but suggests ways to open it up and make it flexible. Jan 6, 2024 · I decided to end Wyll contract, and save his father by myself (in the abyss prison), hell it was hellah hard, Mizora spawning exploding spiders to an 8hp ravenguard duc. But if you manage to save him (use tp portal). Wyll is free from his contract, father is still alive, wyll becomes blade of avernus and go with Karlach.

You can ensure that she doesn't die by sending her to Avernus, provided either you or Wyll are willing to go with her. If there is someone to accompany her, she wouldn't be as opposed to the idea and would be even relatively happy (and the epilogue hints that she and Wyll and on the trail to find a potential fix for good) .
