Feb 11, 2015 · I have reinstalled: Firefox, Java, Adobe Flash. I have ran: Avast, Malwarebytes, super spyware and at the recommendation of Mozilla Support, adwCleaner, but to no avail. I do not believe my computer is infected ( because Avast blocks threat), however, the threat keeps attempting. How do I get rid of this threat? When blocked, Avast shows:

My online Avast! account is showing Anti-theft as not installed, last update 9 March, Last communication 18 minutes ago.
Avast! Internet Security: Its Firewall Does Not Start!
Apr 22, 2011 · I installed the Avast! Internet Security and after having inserted the license the only feature does not activate is the firewall. I tried more and more times to click on start and it did not work. Mine is the versione: 5.0.396 I would like not to upgrade to the 6 one. Thank you.

Avast stops Steamgames from starting
Mar 13, 2017 · The newest Avast update (17.2.2288) stops most of my steam-games mid start. Has anyone a solution for this problem that lets me keep avast. Also: I uninstalled it to see if that worked and surprise, all my games worked perfectly. So the problem must be with avast.
