Aston Magna is a music festival that celebrates classical music and its historical instruments.

The Aston Magna Music Festival’s repertoire has ranged from music for solo violin to baroque and early opera, such as Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and Mozart’s Bastien und Bastienne.

Aston Magna’s pioneering his­­tory includes the first American perform­ances of the complete Bach Brandenburg Concer­tos and the first Mozart symphonies on original in­stru­ments.

Aston Magna’s 2021 festival season took place virtually, on six weekends in June and July. In September 2021, we the Aston Magna Chamber Players present two live concerts at Hudson Hall, Hudson, NY, and at Saint James Place, Great Barrington, MA. We will return to our all beloved stages for live events in 2022!

Jul 14, 2014 · The property has been lovingly preserved for sporting, horseback riding and agriculture, with six miles of trails now leading through the estate.
