Sep 12, 2023 · Arma 3 as an open framework game system will never be able to outperform a one trick pony game at that one trick. It didn't help the vast majority of Arma 3 "DayZ" servers were simply militarized & heavily modified lame-ass Exile servers. It's only been a year or so that BI changed the A2 DayZ mod licensing so it could be legally ported to Arma 3.

May 7, 2012 · If Arma 3 was just Arma 2 with a streamlined command system, context sensitive controls and halfway decent indoor combat I would pay another 30 quid for it. If Arma 3 is just Arma 2 with nicer graphics then the ONLY reason I'm buying it is to keep up with the modding community. I'd be buying it just so I can get the latest dayz and ACE upgrades.

Apr 27, 2013 · After you have @Dayz in your Arma 3 folder, copy your dayz SP addons into said folder and overwrite the existing files. There will be a mission file in the sp folder as well, usually something like DayZ_SP.Chernarus.pbo This will go into your "missions" folder in your Arma 3 directory, NOT MPMISSIONS. Thats it, now your ready to launch the game.

Aug 14, 2012 · Both Arma 3 and DayZ will use the Real Virtuality engine, most of the problems we have with the dayz mod are because it's tied to ArmA, that was the main reason to go standalone, why would you want it to be a mod for ArmA 3 when it wouldn't solve those issues? Sep 3, 2022 · I come from the original DayZ mod for arma 2 years ago and while I think the arma 3 version runs better most people will probably be on the standalone. I’m sure you could find some people still in arma 3 mod you’ll have better luck on the standalone. Or take the ultimate deep dive and move on to tarkov like a lot of DayZ players do.

Jul 9, 2013 · With that comes many problems, even if ported into Arma 3 for improved visuals these problems will remain or even get worse as Arma 3 is still in heavy development itself and it will introduce many more issues that the modders aren't familiar with, that's why DayZ is using it's own variation of the RV engine.

Until a few months ago (when BI changed the DayZ mod license to allow in Arma 3), the Arma 3 "DayZ" experience was exclusively a sorry-ass bastardized version of the Exile survival mod. Now that DayZ has been ported there are a few servers running it.

Jul 16, 2020 · Arma 3 dayz mod.... there is only exile mod which is like retarded brother of Epoch mod to arma 2. Arma 3 has really bad perfomance. In a3 i got 15-30 fps at low settings, in dayz sa i got 80-130fps at high details. In a3 dayz mod you cant even kill zombies with melee because creator of exile mod disabled the damage of melee weapons xD.
