They were a large prehistoric genus of turtle that lived during the Paleocene epoch in foggy swamps of Colombia, South America just a few million years after the Cretaceous Extinction.

The Megachelon is a giant, six-legged, four-eyed turtle with almost human-like facial features; possessing wrinkled skin, external ears, and a toothy mouth instead of a hardened beak.

In ARK: Survival Evolved, the Carbonemys eats Regular Kibble, Pteranodon Kibble, Archelon Algae, Crops, Fresh Tea Leaves, Fresh Barley, Fresh Wheat, or Soybean, Dried Wheat, Mejoberry, and Berries.

Oct 20, 2024 · Do they actually spawn on The Island map? Did luck into a 140 Mosa out of it lol but really was hoping to see the new turtles. They 100% spawn on The Island, I went there just to see them when they got added and they are there.
