Feb 7, 2014 · Ariens 926LE Deluxe Sno-Thros - 926001 guy says he paid $1,100 for it.. based on that, $850 seems high for a 8 or 9 year old machine, but not outrageously high..that could actually be a decent price, if it has been well cared and has little use..hard to say really.

The Ariens 926LE is a good, solid mid sized snow thrower. The 9.25 Snow King engine provides adequate power to handle packed powder snow up to 18" deep. Near the coast of Maine we frequently have wet, dense snow to deal with. I've had no trouble moving 6-8" of wet snow off the driveway. Of course, slush is not thrown as far due to the the weight.

Dec 17, 2016 · The second model is a 926LE (mid 2000s), and I believe it has the Briggs OHV rather than the Tec L-head which was used on the earlier version of the 926LE (will be speaking to the seller to verify tomorrow).

Aug 5, 2019 · Yes - DIY. No one is sure why it is not offered as a factory feature, but everyone loves it - especially when dealing with wet, slushy snow. I did my Ariens just like yours, and I love it. The dual-belt kit is a bargain from Ariens. About $50, and it includes about $100+ worth of parts. Ariens pricing is way out of wack from their normal pricing.

(2015 models come out this Autumn) Found a post from 2007, where a guy says he paid $1,100 for a 926001: Ariens 926LE Deluxe Sno-Thros - 926001 So yeah, $700 or $800 is a bit much.. For a 10-year old machine, I would expect about 50% of the price when new, so $600 is probably a reasonable price.

Feb 17, 2025 · I found this video of a guy swapping an 1130 Ariens with a 212cc Predator Motor. Ran into the same issue with the sleeve etc. Looks like he notched the pulleys and used part of the keyway to fix that issue. Video is about 4 years old. For now I've ordered the head gasket.

Feb 16, 2020 · One is a 2006 926LE (926001) with a 9HP Tec flathead, taller bucket, pin axles, aluminum gearcase, and chute joystick. It has the twin-belt upgrade. The other is a 2015 Deluxe 24 (921024) with an 254cc AX, lower bucket, Autoturn axles, iron gearcase, and the chute crank over the engine.
