Which is Better, Ares Ion or Ares Inferno? : r/starcitizen - Reddit
Jul 30, 2023 · However, there were some comments that said the the inferno had some viability when it comes to VHRTs. The same was said of the ion. So I wanted to make a separate discussion to find out which variant is truly the better of the two. Which Ares is better, Ion or Inferno? (Also, thank you for all the replies on the other post.
Ares Inferno - Worth getting in 3.18? : r/starcitizen - Reddit
Ares Inferno seems better in 3.18 as I died against it in a heavy fighter in a pvp session, before having owned one hitting even a heavy fighter would have been inconsistent at best. Still it was very close so it seems like the ballistics just make it hit hard enough to make up for the lack of accuracy, I imagine the Ion is still trash however.
Why do people dislike the Ares Inferno? : r/starcitizen - Reddit
I got an Ares Inferno myself and have played a lot with it. I love that ship. But (almost) everyone seems to prefer the Ares Ion instead of the Inferno and I don't get it. I find that most reasons are ...inaccurate and i can argument on some others. Most people say restocking. "You have to restock every time" and "if the ammo depletes, you can ...
Ares ION vs INFERNO (and why?) : r/starcitizen - Reddit
Aug 29, 2021 · If you assembled a whole flight of Infernos with a Idris/Javelin/Bengal in the rear as the Capital ship, any ship melee could really benefit the Inferno. Get a few pilots in em, and do a "Boom and Zoom" as they call it in War Thunder haha, light anything up you can and zoom through the battle, and turn back to the Carrier for rearment.
Ares Ion/Inferno vs Vanguard after Extensive Testing
Dec 26, 2021 · Ares now has ZERO fixed aim assist and piss poor accuracy while the vanguard retains full fixed aim assist and exceptional accuracy. The lack of FAA now makes the Inferno go from a 50-70% hit rate at 1k to ~30%. From what I've read here and spectrum people are melting or upgrading their Ares back to Vandguards because it's the hard meta once again.
Just got an area inferno what upgrades do you guys suggest
I’ve owned a Ares in the past and swapped it out for something else which I don’t remember off the top of my head. My advice has been for awhile that if you want an Ares, buy an Inferno and buy it IN-GAME.. really cheap to do and it also doesn’t pigeon hole you into just doing bounties in a $250 ship that has no other uses.
The Ares Inferno is just beautiful (even after the nerf)
I've taken both the Ion and Inferno into dogfights. as i predicted, i got bodied hard. the only few that i won were when i managed to land 2 s5 torpedoes on my target. i've also used my Inferno for limited amounts of CAS during JT. as of right now, the Inferno realistically isnt the greatest for dealing with infantry, which is to be expected ...
Should I upgrade my Ares? : r/starcitizen - Reddit
Mar 23, 2023 · I would upgrade it. I know it has its fans but the Ares imo is 1 of the worse ships. The Inferno is better than the Ion, but as of now I cant see a reason to bring this ship to any situation. Its expensive, niche, not good at its niche, and has a number of replacements that offer more. Vanguard anything is better than the Ares platform.
Where to buy Ares Inferno? : r/starcitizen - Reddit
Jun 14, 2022 · Where can I actually buy the Inferno? I simply love the Crusader ships, ever since discovering the Crusader Showroom a few weeks ago. I have the MSR and want to buy the Ares now, buy not the Ion. I'm the pray and spray kinda guy. All I could see was: Crusader Herculers C2: Orison and Area 18 Crusader Hercules M2: Lorville
The REAL difference between the Ares ION and INFERNO
I have zero desire to play in the "standard" medium fighter space, so boring. The Ares for me, 100%. I'm currently leaning towards the Inferno, but will give the Ion serious consideration before I decide for certain. But if you want a more run-of-the-mill, standard, based on real-life fighter jet design points, then that's the Saber.
