Oct 26, 2023 · Yeah no worries, I know what I have to look for (but thanks though), I just often approach from quite different directions, and I agree that Area 18 especially is probably the hardest landing area to quickly locate (among other things because the Area 18 marker isn't on top of the space port)

Apr 19, 2019 · Area 18 - how to land GAMEPLAY So I flew for what feels like 15 min to get to the new planet (very good looking btw), but when I found a place that looked like it had ammo, weapons ect, I requested landing with F11 and nothing.

Nov 28, 2022 · After 4 months of playing SC I still struggle to find the spaceport at Area 18 after-dark. Sometimes I don't even see the port from as little as 4 to 5k out! What I look for is this TINY purple light (circled on the left) and then I know the spaceport is just ahead. I then zoom in to confirm with even MORE purple lights lol.

May 29, 2023 · Yeah, its a tricky one, QT to Bajini Point, the space station, and then qt to Area 18, it lines you up beautifully with the Space Port. After a while, you will get more comfortable with it and come in from other angles. I used to hate it, now quite ok.

Apr 13, 2023 · I would recommend Area 18. It is a good space with armour and weapons shops, one right outside the spawn location. You also have a ship weapons place called Centremass nearby and a dumpsters depo for some ship components. It also has Astro Armada to buy some ingame ships should you earn enough.

Dec 30, 2022 · This is more likely to happen to you at landing areas located in cities (Orison, New Babbage, Lorville and Area 18) Orison landing area is 80km above the planet's surface (because Orison is a floating city) so keep an eye on your altimeter. This means you should expect to see a marker for your assigned hanger at around 83 to 84km.
