Pada 21 Mac 2023, sidang Parlimen ke-15 menyaksikan penubuhan semula APPGM, dengan YB Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said mengumumkan penubuhan di dewan rakyat. APPGM-SDG telah diwujudkan semula dengan YB Isnaraissah Munirah binti Majilis sebagai Pengerusi dan YB Dato Saifuddin Abdullah sebagai Timbalan.

Fifty Six (56) people are identified to play a role in the APPGM-SDG Secretariat. Unlike in 2020 and 2021 where key positions were held by volunteers, a bulk of work shall be undertaken by full-time staff due to the work demands and dateline.

The core of the APPGM-SDG work is to identify local needs and issues based on the SDGs. The APPGM-SDG employs bottom-up and participatory approaches in mapping issues and analyzing the situations on the ground.

The ASEAN SDG-SSE Roadmap (2026-2030) is a strategic initiative to integrate Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) principles into the ASEAN region's efforts to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Teras kerja APPGM-SDG adalah untuk mengenal pasti keperluan dan isu tempatan berdasarkan SDG. APPGM-SDG menggunakan pendekatan bottoms-up dan partisipatif dalam memetakan isu dan menganalisa situasi di lapangan.
