Mia, also known as Anita, was one of David Elster's original sentient synths. Prior to being purchased by the Hawkins, Mia was associated with Leo Elster, Max, Fred, and Niska, and has since been reunited with her family.

In the July 19th episode, the Hawkins family get increasingly uncomfortable with Anita's presence.
