I also forgot to mention a third-party site that books Amtrak coach tickets - Wanderu: Search & Compare Cheap Bus and Train Tickets You'll pay the same price and receive an e-ticket from Amtrak. They don't appear to do sleepers, though.

Jan 26, 2017 · Noticed recently the Amtrak App has a new sort and filter process that changes the way trains are displayed by default. Depending on where you are starting from or going too it might not make a difference but I notice in some cases from Boston it is showing all Acela departures before showing any regionals.

The web app loses the AGR#/email id, and complains that one was not provided, but it was in the login screen. Jan 8, 2010 · A couple months ago, I used my Amtrak Guest Rewards points to buy a ticket on Amtrak (WIL-NYP-NFS). Is there a way I can have it automatically show from within the Amtrak App? Later, when AwardWallet updates the Amtrak account, AW deletes any Amtrak trip that isn't on the Amtrak system, even the ones I just sent them. Thank you all in advance. Dec 10, 2023 · I think as a result of this, the Amtrak app on Android is extremely slow and often crashes. When I'm on the train and the conductor comes around, it's embarrassing as it often takes half a minute to bring up the ticket. Occasionally, a ticket I have reserved doesn't even show up in the app and I have to find the receipt in my email.

Aug 22, 2002 · I took a peek at the app. Didn't see the option to "check in" at various Amtrak stations like the iPhone app does. Not that it's particularly useful, but I thought the iPhone app had some kind of "passport" that kept track of where you've been and allows people to annoy their Facebook friends with "I just checked in at such-and-such station."
