AMSCOL stood for Adelaide Milk Supply Co-Operative Limited. It was an extensive business and produced bottled milk, ice cream, cream, cheese and butter. AMSCOL was sold in 1982 and the factory premises in Carrington Street were demolished to make way for housing.
