Alison King has been teaching music for more than 13 years. She teaches all the levels of Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Voice, and up to Level 6 RCM Piano. She also teaches non-RCM music, including many different genres such as musical theatre and pop music.

Alison King, born in Portland, Oregon was a recent studio artist at the prestigious Oper Frankfurt studio program. She is a graduate of the Yale Opera Studio and a student of Marilyn Horne. She sang on stage at the Metropolitan Opera as a National Semifinalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.

She recently performed at the Gerda Lissner Foundation Winners Gala at the New York Athletic Club and attended the Music Academy of the West singing Micaëla in Carmen. Upcoming performances include a concert with Opera Birmingham and the Mozart Requiem Mass with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.
