I got the Alexa cast via the Heos account and here's my problem. If I start playing a song directly on my phone own speakers I get HD, HD ultra and Atmos codec indicators on playback.

Jan 18, 2018 · It's more hassle than it's worth, IMO. I haven't used my lossless NAS music collection in ages, just use Google Play Music and Pandora (it has the best "radio station" algorithms). You can't really tell the difference between the high res tracks on Google Play Music or Apple Music, and the equivalent lossless files.

I'm disabled and like the idea of the Echo/Alexa's voice control capabilities & music streaming but don't need the built in speaker. If I can't hook it up via BT, any other suggestions? Thanks.
